Fork compatibility

I understand the '13+ BPF is quite superior to the '09-12 ZX6R. A contact has a cherry set of '13+ forks that I'd like to put on my '09. I'd like to know if there are any compatibility problems with front fender, possible diff front brakes (abs), fork barrel diameter, clip on differences, etc.

I don't see why they would be superior, but I have heard that they are much softer OEM vs the 2009-12 OEM. The 2009-12 are actually better for the track, where the 2013+ were geared a little more toward the street.

I believe diameters are the same so they should fit in the triples, but I'm not sure if the axle is the same. I know the 13-17 don't have a nut, because the axle threads directly into the opposing fork leg, whereas on the previous models it threads into a nut on the other side. So the new ones only use 2 pinch bolts on the right side fork. I just don't know if the axles are compatible.

Clip ons are different by 1mm soooo idk if they are perfect fits in the triples. Brakes on the 13 and up are bigger and calipers are different too.
