99-02 Fairing Swap - Ram Air & Headlight ?s

So I'm swapping over to the 02 zx6r fairing set with the dual headlights. I have a few questions that most of you probably know the answer to, but here we go. (Yes I searched.)

Ram Air
Is the entire ram air assembly necessary? Does it support part of the fairing? Does the bike run like $4i+ without it?

Headlight
When swapping the headlights I know I have to do some wiring and that's no problem. But, can I run a dual element bulb in both sides, or will this be too much for the charging system? Will the internal reflectors make the light pattern worthless?

My bike is in fighter mode and it doesn't have the ram air setup on it. Runs like a champ, but the ram air systems are the same between the 98-02 models so it should be plug and play. If you don't want to run it like that you might have to rejet the carbs and make sure you keep the breather hose for the carbs somewhere on the bike.

As for the headlight you should be able to get away with it. Both models run an H4 bulb which has 2 filaments. All you'd have to do is buy another connector, splice into the corresponding wires, and boom you'll have another running light. That should do the trick
