Bike keeps dying 5 seconds after turning on

What's up guys! I couldn't remember my password to my old account and the email i apparently used :x so here I am with a new user. So, I bought a new battery and the bike turns on for 5 seconds. I must say when I put my bike away it was left outside for a month or two (before I put in garage) So, now I'm stuck, LITERALLY STUCK at where the hell im going with this. I took a video to send to my friend and he stated maybe the spark plugs? Here is the video if you guys can please help me out!

Is the battery fully charged?

If it is nearly flat, all sorts of odd behavior will happen....

"Basic stuff fellas. Use your head for something other than to break your next fall."

"There's this adage that we have 2 ears and one mouth so we should listen twice as much as we talk. Unfortunately with the Internet people have taken this old adage and turned it around. They have two eyes and 10 fingers so they think they need to post 5 times as much as they read. And since they have 10 fingers and one brain, they only have to think 10% of the time! "

Battery is fully charged. I bought it like 4 days ago and the same thing happened the other day but the bike never turned. So i had them charge the battery (full) and this is what happened. I must say i'm starting to think there's water in my gas or something

at the moment i can't open the tank because i broke my only key on the bike.. SO RETARDED. The day i put the new batt i thought I had no gas so i went to put gas to the top and when I took the key out it broke. I twisted the gas tank closed to take the remainder of the key out and now it sits in the ignition. I have a keyless gas cap coming in today but Incant even remove it. I need a way to replace it (needs key). Sorry i changed the subject but back to the gas think I did fill it up and I believe I hear it when I turn the key

Ok, when I pick up the gas tank I here the fuel pump. It's like a whining noise correct? When it sits back down how it should be I don't here the noise. Also, I believe I drained my battery so fml, about to go to autozone later and have them charge it.

That tube u took a picture of. What tube is that?

Also, while youre trying to figure this out, u can use jumper cables to hook ur battery up to ur car. The car battery will last way longer. Leave the car engine off though.

You can still remove the gas cap without a key. It'll take a bit of work though. You can either drill out the lock or jam a strong flat screw driver in there and bend it enough to where it opens up. I just did that on an R3 I bought recently without a key. Ended up destroying the screw driver, and had to use a chisel too but it worked in the end.

What should I start with fellas? Do you think if I dump the gas it'll work? Also, why the hell when I hit throttle the bike dies right away? Please don't let that be a question un answered! PLEASE, and thank you guys!

wow. this is a mess in here. Lets start with the basics: We know it runs so it is not spark related. It is either starving for fuel or has restricted air. Since you left the bike outside you will need to get to your air filter/airbox and make sure that you do not have a nest in there. Unlikely but easiest to rule out.

Most likely fuel related. What year is the bike?
