2005 636 engine dying/cutting out

hello fellow ninja's!

firstly apologies if there is a thread already about this but i couldn't find one, anyways...

the problem im having with my 2005 636 goes like this, as im riding along usually after a couple of hours depending on the temperature the engine, will either shudder to a halt and or run rough as hell and then die, all electrics stay on no problem and after i switch the ignition off for 30 seconds it will start up and ride away no problem, then it may happen again depending on how fast i ride and how hot the bike is (usually happens hot around 100c)

the best way i can describe the engine dying is if you could imagine riding along on a bike with a manual choke and the choke gets pulled, the engine seems to run super ritch and makes that bogging down noise when you open up the throttle and then it just dies

i think its down to fueling myself but im not sure, anyway these are things that have been done to the bike recently... new reg/rec , new stator, new battery, cleaned fuel tank, cleaned fuel filter

any words of wisdom would be greatly apreciated, i need to get it sorted before the TT !!

cheers

Does it die when the fan kicks in at 100degrees?

i dont think its fan/ generator related, the fan works fine although it does tend to either die while im riding fast or after its been hot riding around in traffic

When did you clean the fuel tank & fuel filter? How long was you able to ride after you cleaned the fuel tank & fuel filter then the problem started? How many miles are on the bike? Any mods?
