How far are the jet screws within the carbs supposed to be unscrewed? Like i took apart my carbs and cleaned the jets and what not out, but don't know how far they are supposed to be backed out after tightening.
I am assuming you mean the idle air screw. If not, disregard. I dunno on your bike but on all my dirt bikes that I have adjusted, 2 turns out will get you started and running so you can fine tune.
The idle air mixture screw is on the outside of the carb bodies. It's usually covered by a brass plug if it hasn't already been modified by someone. The jets internal to the carbs are meant to be seated in their threads. Soft brass, and aluminum.... don't turn into the Hulk on this.
