Riding on bumpy roads

hey yall. well my bike has been down for over a month now with my problems with my HIDs, but i was just wondering if anyone else has the same problem as me. i live in missouri and we have notoriously bumpy and shitty roads. this makes me hesitant to really lean the bike into turns for fear of the front end washing out due to a bump or something. anyone else have this problem? im really looking forward for the "nascar style track" that could be potentially built in branson, mo (not very far from springfield, mo) with the hopes that there will be a road track to go unleash this beast on! until then, i guess i need to keep looking for some decent roads to carve up. in southwest missouri they are hard to come by.

Fuck it. just ride. Who cares how far you lean over or how fast you go?

i did hids on a friends bike and i soldered everything and i still had a problem. it turned out to be the fuse holder was shitty and was shorting on/off the fuse. replaced with waterproof fuse holder and all better.

Lol sounds like Ohio roads... Uneven corners and pot holes in corners... Oh well. Keep your heart pumping when you feel the front settle under you lol. Happens to me a few times on the way to work in the morning running the speed limit.

You might have to do a little exploring to find some good roads

I usually always riding very near the center line (unless a car is coming toward me) to avoid all the bumps and stupid sewer covers here in TN. One day (God only knows what I was thinking), I was riding down the right side of the road, didn't see a divot in the road, bottomed out so hard I bent my license plate. Eff the roads, seriously. But The only time I lean (well practice leaning) is on roads I"m really familiar with and I know don't have any unusual bumps.

Ha, there's a lot of roads around here that are pretty shitty and choppy. Plus a lot of tight, blind mountain curves with gravel in them. There's actually a section up on the main highway where they've been doing road construction and where the bridge and road meet there's probably a two inch drop from the bridge to the road and I'm not joking, the first time I hit it and wasn't paying attention I bet a put imprints of my nuts in the tank lol. I make sure to raise out of the seat and absorb with my knees a little now haha

ya im gonna have to get out there and find some better roads. really hope that track goes through in branson, mo because that would be friggin awesome. a lot of drama over it though because people are opposing it, saying it will disturb the peaceful scenery and shit like that. plus, bass pro owner johnny morris is opposing it because he says it will disturb guests at his resort nearby, called big cedar lodge. he is just afraid he is going to lose some money. as far as i know, the people who design those kinds of "nascar style" tracks take noise into consideration and can do things to lessen the noise in the surrounding area. plus it would be a great thing for the economy down there and i would love to hit a track on the bike and possibly watch some racing there, bikes or potentially nascar if they were to get approval for it. that would be friggin awesome! keep yalls fingers crossed! lol
