Just something to slip the front wheel in so it can't move side to side. I found a thread with a really crude example, but it would be good enough:
Theres an idea. Thanks.

Well the truck has groves in the bed floor. Maybe that will hold the front wheel in place. I dont see the liner happening.

I've actually done that before and it wasn't a good idea. It's not so much that the front wheel can slide but that it will turn to the side as well if you just have it butted up against the front of the bed. I have a liner with grooves in it and it started turning on me. You really need something to lock the wheel in place.

I see what your saying. Do you think it will still turn with the canyon dancer strap though?

Yes, I had one on mine. I normally wouldn't have hauled it like that but I stopped at the shop after work and my bike was ready to be picked up for the valve cover gasket fix. I wasn't really prepared to haul it home but I didn't want to go all the way home (25 miles) and come back and get it. I had the harness and tie downs but no chalk so I loaded it up thinking it was only a 25 mile drive. I wasn't comfortable all the way back. I stopped once to straighten the bars up but you definitely want something locking the forks in place. I normally haul in a trailer with chocks and tie downs.

Okay. I will take your word for it since you have experienced it already.
Thanks.

Well you could load it up and do a short test drive but I would rather have the piece of mind and not have to be constantly watching my mirror for 1000 miles.
