07 rotors?

07 rotors?

does any one know if the 07 rotors would swap on to my 06 and work with no problems? trying to get new rotors to replace my warped ones but cant find any for 06.

The rotor part number is slightly different from the year 2006 to the 2007 year. This means the part was updated some how. It could be just a cosmetic design change. Nothing more.
Babits is wrong then. In 05 they switched to the 6 spoke wheel and went to the larger diameter rotors. The rotors on an 04 and older bike are to small for the forks on an 06 and newer bikes and only go about halfway into the calipers. And consequently the wheel from an 05 and up bike can't be put on the older forks, b/c the calipers sit to close to the axle and the rotors will contact the back of the calipers and not allow the wheel to go into place.

Man those babits guys are slackers, you can even look at pics and see they aren't the same. 05 has the wave style, 04 does not.

alright got one more question will that extra i think it measured 2mm possibly 3mm cant remember off hand affect anything. the 07 rotors are alil thinker then my 06 ones. just wondering or will it be cool with them being alil thicker? my cuzin has an 07 so it was nice to be able to measure before buyin away

According to the S/M rotors on both bikes start out at 6.2mm thick and should be replaced if they wear thinner that 5.5 mm.
