Hotel is booked for mid-July - cant wait!!
Headed down from Canada so I'm staying for a few days, tour the roads and see the sights.
Any recommendations on things to see while I'm there?....other then all the twisty roads!

I actually stared pricing my trip yesterday. Hoping to be down there mid to late June. 1009 miles, one way.

MonsterZX - I had hoped to book it for June when the crew is going, but I couldn't get the time off work then. I'm pumped to be going at all though. I've had my sights set on this trip for a few years!
THUG & Linteau - I'm almost 1200km (roughly 750 miles) and 13 hours away myself, which is why I'm planning to be there for a few days. If I'm going, I'm going to make it a good trip! If you get a room a Deal's Gap ( dealsgap.com, Deals Gap, NC information. The Dragon, US129, Great Smoky Mountains. The Dragon at Deals Gap.), the rooms are very affordable. Standard room is only $60 a night - and you're right at the start of the best part of the highway.

Worried my truck wont make it. and 13hrs? from canada? its like 11 hrs from West Michigan. How are you getting down there? Quote:

I usually rent a vehicle for vacations...my girl is really pretty and can be a huge bitch ..using one of those to her advantage everytime we get to the rental place we get upgraded to like a fully loaded suv for like the price of a car
works every fukin time period...its fuckin funny !!! (and fun)
anyways i guess i would try to pull my bike in that on a trailer or i have a nice dodge durango but its got the hemi and gets about 11 mpg ....
So, something like that
...and i would be coming with wife and kids i see it is right by the rockey mountain national park or some park like that ?
