Question LEDs and the law

I live in AL and I have blue/white lights on my bike. I havent rode with the lights on except when I was in a group ride with maybe 20+ people but I was wondering if anyone on here from AL knows the laws on LEDs?

My Police buddy up here in Lee County said as long as they are not flashing its ok.

Your best bet, just call your county office and ask.

I'd consult a traffic lawyer before I discuss it with a LEO. While I respect their profession it is IMHO that they generally don't know the law as well as a lawyer would and are more than likely going to give you a "safe" answer to keep you within the law they enforce. 9 times out of 10 though a lawyer is probably going to just give you the specific law code anyway, so you're better off just looking it up yourself. Just a couple of minutes on google pulled up these:

Specific code regarding vehicle lights
Alabama Code - Division 2: LIGHTS, LAMPS AND REFLECTIVE DEVICES

ALA CODE § 32-5-241 : Alabama Code - Section 32-5-241: ADDITIONAL PERMISSIBLE LIGHTS ON VEHICLES
ALA CODE § 32-5-242 : Alabama Code - Section 32-5-242: REQUIREMENTS AS TO HEAD LAMPS AND AUXILIARY DRIVING LAMPS
