Mod the 600 first? Then again to each of their own, I'm more than happy with just 600cc's, but I'd love to ride a 1000 to see the difference in the lower rev ranges. Which 1000 are are you looking at?

I went to a 1000c and its a big difference...but its all in your wrist..you can act up much easier...and get hurt...so enjoy the 600 until you can ride the shyt out of it.

Didn't you jus get that 600 not to long ago? Why would you need a 1000 cc on the rode when you legally can't even max out a 600. A 1000 might beat me in the long run but through the twisties I have them. If your planning on dragging then I can see the reason for the 1000, but the jump from the 600 to the 1000 for the street is dumb in my opinion. Especially when you haven't had that 600 long. Mod it first. You can see a big difference in some mods.

i love my zx10 now that im used to it i got it back in november and im barely getting to really ride it ..it took a lot of getting used to ..i was used to whipping my 6 in the corners and making it do what i wanted...then getting on the 10 and thinking shit im not going to make the corner...now im ok but i wouldnt run it like i did the 6...and yes its way easier to get in trouble...the 10 with the twist of the throttle it goes no matter what gear im in there is no down shifting to pass a car..i just got a ticket doing 130 and i was just getting on the freeway..he said he clocked me at 114 and let off the gun cause he didnt need anymore....but i pulled away after he let off...the pull is there in every gear..riding the twisties i dont ever get out of 2nd or 3rd

+1000000
Imo the only reason to have a 1000 is if you're riding with a passenger all the time or you're a bigger rider. If you're getting bored then go find some twisties. Anything gets boring in a straight line.

+1 with the swingarm. People have 600s for the fun factor, which you prob aren't getting with the swingarm like that.

I'd say put a stock swing arm on that thing and learn how to ride it.

I've been riding for 20 years and prefer a 600. And routinely wind up passing or holding off guys on 1000's at the track as long as it's a tight technical track.

Seriously man. 3 months riding experience? Good luck with that.

Not sure what kind of 1000 I want. There arent really any twisties where I am the only nice turns are when I get off of the interstate and am suppose to go 25mph. And for me to take off my extention and add mods to it I could just buy a bigger bike. its just an idea I have been playin with.

You gotta explore more to find some twisties in Orlando. We do have some, just not anywhere within city limits. But you seem pretty set on the idea of a 1k. Just don't stretch it out, please.
