I just bought one a couple months ago to ride with the family. I had an Evil Kenevil bike when I was like 8 or 10.

Ride GREEN or don't ride at all.

Just bought a new ZX6R as my first bike....I took a motorcycle riding training course and that helped a lot. I get a lot of crap for buying a new bike and buying a 600. Whatever...I couldn't be happier! I say do what you feel comfortable with.

my first bike was/is an 09 zx6r .... had it almost a year ( got it in oct 2010) and love it..., i did take a class tho before getting on my bike, two day course on 230cc honda enduros but as soon as i got home it was slow and easy rides around my block for a few days, as soon as i got my license it was over!!! now 19000+ mi later i can say i made a good choice!! im still learning my bike but i am a way better rider than before ( went down once already) but its a constant learning process and nothing beats seat time!!!

thats what she said.....

I knew that if I would get a 250, I would look like such a dork. Lol. So I manned up and bought my 636. I love this bike. So much power. Hehehe.

i started on my 636. no need to start on a 250. i think people forget the fact that YOU control the power.. it doesn't control you, and you don't HAVE to open it up. damn near any bike can be ridden by anyone as long as you know your limits. ride normal and you won't have anything to worry about.

Started on a yamaha fz6. After a year bought the new zx6r. The zx6r is actually an easier bike to ride than the fz, even though that is considered more of a beginner bike.
