fuck leaving state farm

Well 2 months passed as I totaled my gsxr and I just received my new insurance monthly statement from state farm on the 6r. Beyond pissed

Was paying 19 a month full coverage 29 yr old no tickets no accidents. Even the totaling of the gsxr wasn't my fault. Hit a pot hole and no tickets issued 2 police reports saying road wasn't up to par. So morale of the story it went from 19 to 178'a month WOW!!!!

State farm.says I'm a high risk now. Wtf. Haven't had a ticket in 8 years and no accidents in 13. Talk about highway robbery.

So on that note. All state said they won't insure me. I'm blown.away by this seriously disgusted. Perfect driving record and now I'm paying the price for something that wasn't my fault

progressive said they are going to get back at me with in a week and let me know

So I'm beyond pissed and can't believe that they do this to people. Thought insurance was there to protect you in bad situations not fuck you completely over.

Capitalism is awesome. Move to Florida, you'll just need health insurance.

That sounds like BS! Give Geico try too. I have state farm and they were half the price of all the others. I'm glad I didn't claim it when I crashed. I pay 74/month and would hate to see what it would have went up to.

If you lived here I could recommend a place to you.

hmm, state farm used to be one of the best out there. I ran with all state for maybe 20 yrs. then they found out that I had pit bulls and would not cover my property. I gave them the finger and moved on with all of my policies. Bummer to hear about your local state farm issues.

I was paying 48/month full coverage on mine back in 06 when it was brand new and I was 27. It has went up almost every year....2 years ago it had double to around 100/month. No tickets/wrecks..... Called and they said insurance was going up b/c of OTHERS wrecking their bikes and bike insurance in general was going up....this is also with State Farm.

Yeah my insurence went down to $148 a month but now with this ticket for going over 100mph it should jump back up to $250 again. And that's when I'll cancell cause THAT is criminal.

I love State Farm, they have taken pretty good care of me. They even ignored my wreck from a couple months back. Not sure why yours is being such a douche.

could also be the agent you go to. we have 3 (yes THREE) in my town, and we only have around 15,000 people. LAWLZ. i went to one, who is the dad of a guy i went to school with. said they needed to take a picture of the bike and some other crap, and the guy lives just in the next subdivision, its a 5 minute walk. but he could never be bothered to come by. after 2 weeks or so i went to another agent and in 5 minutes i had my policy. same rates, but much better experience.

now that guy died (RIP), but the guy who is in that office now is a nice dude, and i like the people there. and yes, my insurance has gone up as well, little by little, but its still not that bad, and is certainly cheaper than everyone else for the same coverage. i think i pay 88 bucks a month, and ive got everything. theft, collision, uninsured motorist, medical...etc. so its not too bad to me.

id say if your agent sucks and wont work with you, talk to another agent. theres bound to be another one around you if i have 3 within 20 minutes of each other.

Yea I appreciate the advice guys. I'm just blown away. I carry my other bikes my car and my house with them. The agent has always been great to me and very friendly. State farm considers me a high risk driver and that's on my vehicle report now. They are seriously fucking this part of my life up

Icarry 100k 300k 100k comp collision medical and 250 deducatble. I like to cover my ass I own the bike but I don't want spend a a ton of money on insurance. I don't speed I don't stunt or anything. Fuck for the amount I may have to pay for insurance I could go buy a new bike and make payments. It's sickning

So get your claim money & drop them. When they see u dropped 2 bikes a car & a house they'll offer u a deal. U can get a package deal with other companies just have to shop around. I'm very satisfied with amica right now. They have been hassle free
