I agree, stem cells are crazy/could have fixed this a long time ago by reconnecting the nerves to my spinal cord. Pretty soon it wont matter for me if they bring stem-cells, because by april of next year, the muscles in my arm will be dead (They last 18 months with no use, but the atrophying kill them completely after 18 months) I dont know if stem cells have that ability or not.

I know this sounds crazy but I'm fine living life without my left arm. There isnt anything that I can not do with only 1 arm. Are second arm is definitely not a necessity in life, just makes life easier. I cant wait for bionics to advance more, they are getting close but no company has pulled the trigger to bring one to market

This is the best one I have found, which will be super affordable!

Congratulations Kevin on your recovery. It's great that you want to ride again. I have been riding since I was 10. I still have the mini bike my dad bought for me(he bought it used and fixed it up to give me for Christmas). Riding is a lifestyle, I'm glad I'm part of it, and I'm glad it's part of me. Just make sure that you are 100 percent confident when you mount a bike the next time. Good luck and take care .

Thats what I was thinking. I dunno what theyre called but theyre electrodes and they pulse ur muscles. People use them when they dont wanna exercise but gain muscle.

Every now n then he could charge em up!

I thought of this when I first found out of the full avulsion. Electrical pulses moving the muscles don't work properly when there's no nerves connected to the spinal cord. I have a tens unit that will twitch the heck out of my neck muscles but I can't get it to anything for my arm. And when they aren't connected like normal they start to die off. I have learned a ridiculous amount of medical information studying about my injury. It almost makes you want to go to the medical field, but I like computers and networks more

I'll take this one off for a bionic arm please
