I honestly don't care at all about getting my money back as long as it really went to the charity it was supposed to - which, incidentally, was Lone Survivor Foundation, not Wounded Warrior Project (I had to go back and check the original thread)

If it didn't actually get to LSF, then I'd love to see this dude nailed to a wall for it! (...figuratively, of course)

I'm with you. Lobster won the raffle so I certainly want to see him get a suit or money for a quality suit.

It seems odd that Scott posted that he sent the refund and Lobster hasn't verified it.

And this would be why I don't participate in these types of things on line. No offense but you're basically handing over money to people with no verification that the money you are sending is actually getting to where it's supposed to go and no written contracts involved.

Sorry to all of those that participated and got ripped off.

Well good intentions or not?...I'll not be a part of this sort of thing again.

Money to a good cause, A chance at owning a nifty suit, & in the end it goes to a needy rider.
Sounded so good, But in the end ..not so good huh.

Hey guys, sorry about the late update since I was at the track this past weekend.

I appreciate everyone's support in this matter. Since I feel you are all a part of this matter, I will disclose all of the information.

I was Western Union'ed $639 dollars on Sunday. I picked it up Monday night. David says its about $290 less than what was sent but I feel like I've lucked out so I shouldn't push my luck and pursue the rest of the money.

I have decided on an RS Taichi WRX 304. The winnings from the raffle only covers 30% of that so I will save that until I can come up with the rest.

Again, thanks to you all.

Has Scott said anything about the rest of the money that was sent to him? Not one cent towards LSF, I guess...

Great choice on the suit!

I'm glad you got the $639 but that is complete and total bullshit! I was very happy for the money that I spent to go to you but for Scott to get it is just wrong.

I feel like I have been scammed.

Should have made $636. I'm glad you got something though. We can always leave yelp reviews and all kinds of others regarding his new business to cost him some profit from the new company.

Step 1: create fake raffle

Step 2: collect money

Step 3: refund less than what was collected and hope everyone forgives and forgets

Step 4: profit

Does this guy have a new business?

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride! ~Hunter S. Thompson

You forgot one thing: doing all of this in the name of a noble cause. 'It's all for the veterans'. And to let someone win a brand new custom suit... Fellow rider fraternal shit.

Of course, giving the suit away from the 'goodness of his heart'.
Goodness of his heart, my brown ass...
