KTM 300, 350, and 450 dirt bikes and RC390 street bikes. But, KTM already charges a premium price and people pay it. This would just mean the price will go a little higher right? The question I would have is how much higher. I assume Husqvarna, Gas Gas and a few others would also be affected. I also wonder why they limit to certain sizes since it's in connection with a beef dispute. Would seem to penalize select companies. (Ducati, Aprilia and others wouldn't be affected much at all).

I'd have to think that the targeted range of displacements would limit the ability of other markets to emplace reciprocal tariffs on US products. No one in the US is making anything to export in that range, right?

Is HD importing Italian small displacements, again?

I'm sure the Japanese buy our meat
:laugh

How many bikes does the US actually make in this capacity? Seems rather retarded. But hey...more tax to fund Trump's spray-tan and comb-over. Yey!

Nope, I didn't know about them backing out.

Didn't read the linked thread.. And only read an article only showing apparently part of the situation.

That being said.. I'm pretty simple guy, if the EU or China or anyone else doesn't play on a LEVEL playing field then it's a tit, for tat. You block our stuff. We block their's.

So this is coming about because the EU isn't buying meat products from the US? Fuck that shit. It sounds like the chicken tax from the 60's, which is the reason why the US doesn't have any of the small, cheap pickup trucks like the rest of the world. And that pisses me off probably more than it should. The only thing I'm wondering is why they would choose motorcycles to tax, meat products sound like a way bigger market than sub 500cc motorcycles but then again I'm not economics expert.
