Jennings Jan 28 /29

Anyone going to be at Jennings next weekend the 28/29. Me and a bunch of guys that ride with performance riding experience will be there.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride! ~Hunter S. Thompson

The name is familiar but I don't think so unless he traveled to the NE at some point.

I see him on the WERA forum a lot. Wanted to buy a data logger from him last year but he asked a bit too much.

I only asked because I recently bought his komodo leathers and a few racers recognized the name because I haven't gotten his name off the back yet lol

I didn't have time. I don't want anyone thinking I'm fast. Lol it's coming off after this weekend.

Really really fun track! I'll post pics tomorrow if anyone wants to see. I'm on my sv though

Sad day. Prob the last time riding her before she sells and I feel like she was trying to prove to me her worth. I mean it was fucking clicking this weekend. The best I've ever ridden. I was giving the big bikes absolute hell. Got asked twice if it was a 600 750.lol I love responding to that and the puzzled look when I at its an SV. If this was my last time riding her we sure went out with a hell if a ride!

Glad that you had a good time and yes, would love to see pics.

I will still to this day swear that my SV was the best track bike that I could have had. They make a fantastic platform for track riding.

This sv is fully stock minus some minor upgrades like fork springs 520 chain. Stainless lines. Street tires. I am selling this with the street parts because I am giving up street riding. It's been my street and track bike for all of last season.

I bought another SV and did a bunch of stuff to it to make it a "better" track bike but I've just really gelled with this one so I am hoping I like the other just as much...

The one has gsxr front end. Ohlins internals. Ohlins shock. R6 calipers. Brembo master. Quick shifter. Race filter and was custom tuned to get me 77hp

Yes I love the sv. I am really worried that I won't like the gsxr front end. If I could do it all over is buy some sort of cartridges or something for the stock forks. I'm hoping I don't lose any of that stability that I love.

I'll upload pics in a little bit. I am still actively working on body position and getting my head over more.

You will love it. If anything it makes for a stiffer package as the stock SV forks are like wet noodles. The real magic for making the upgrade though is not in the forks themselves but the ability to add radial brakes. Basically that build you mentioned is exactly what I did to my race bike except I added a Brembo MC to it and a superbike engine build.
