What's better stomp grip or tech spec?

I can't decide what to get, never had either.

I love my tech spec's, but I've never had the stomp grips to compair. The only thing I have heard about the stomp ones is they can chew up your leathers more.

I've had Tech Spec before but since switched to Eazi Grip. They are made in the UK and are just as good or better than the others out there. Moto D and Orient Express carry them. I got the more aggressive version for both street and track bikes and no complaints.

Had stomps on my bike for 7 years and the only thing it made wear faster were jeans. My leathers have never had any issues.

OP: Both will do the same job so buy the ones you like and what is more your style.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned this:

The stomp grip are a lot more aggressive than the tech specs meaning that they grip a lot more. I actually think stomp grips are TOO grippy, requiring me to completely detach my knee from the tank to reposition. Techspecs allow me to slide a bit more but I find them a little under the grip level that I would like.

I went with a different company that seemed to have the best of both worlds but now for the life of I cannot recall what the brand is. I will try to find that out and get back to you.

I've only ever run Stomp Grips so I don't have any other experience to draw from. They work really well so I've always used them.

Stomp Grip is awesome stuff. They have a less aggressive grip pattern available as an option too.

Epicenter - Technology - Traction Profiles | StompGrip

Default "volcano" pattern

Smoothridge pattern

Or you could be a cheap ass like me and pick up some adhesive safety tread from HF for about $6... 12 in. x 12 in. Self-Adhesive Rubber Safety Mat with Tread Surface

Serves the exact same purpose and I love it.

My bike had tech spec on it when I bought it and I thought the grip was insufficient. Put stomp grip on there and it gripped way better. Had an issue for a bit with it trying to eat my leathers but I've adjusted my position some and it isn't a problem anymore.
