Question Advice on meeting fellow riders

Whats up guys!

I am still learning how this forum works and don't really know how to search for topics yet but I was just wondering if you guys have any advice on how to find fellow riders around my area? I don't have any friends that ride and aside from flagging down a motorcycle on the street I don't really know where to begin to find people to ride with!

Thanks

You'll have plenty of people to ride with at the track.

Generally you can post up and say 'hey, rider in <x town> going for a ride on <x day>. Anyone interested?

Also, talk to your local bike place about local bike nights. There will be 2348934576 tools there and about 5 cool people. If you can find those cool people, it would have been worth it.

Do not see why this section wouldn't work.

" Looking for Riders in the Miami, etc, etc area"

https://www.meetup.com/South-Florida-Riders-Club/about/

SoFlaSportbikes.com

If you don't find what your looking for use this site.
https://www.meetup.com/

We have one here. Anyone can setup a ride, everyone gets a notice you just say if you can or can't attend, maybe's also allowed.

Florida Trackdays, Motorcycle Trackdays and Motorcycle School at Homestead Miami Speedway and Palm Beach International Speedway
Florida Track Days - SoFlaSportbikes.com - South Florida's Sportbike Community

Looks like the Florida track day crew hosted this event.
The second video is proof you don't have to go fast and all experiance levels do track days.
Can't say enough about track day's. DO SOME.
Having grown up in south florida I know what it is like with the blue hairs and heavy traffic. You will meet others in your area at the track, most will have there need for speed taken care of and 9 out of 10 are safe street riders. (if they ride on the street)

I'll be sure to do some track days, definitely want to become as safe of a rider as possible and meet other riders that are smart on the road.

Your very welcome Colton.

From one Floridian to another. Ride safe with the blue hairs.
Don't know when I will make it down to visit the family, when I do will look you up.
I would love to run the Homestead track, only problem will be finding a bike. LOL.

I met my best man and all of my groomsmen on YouTube. It's weird, but posting riding vids got us talking and we've even moved countries to ride together more now.
