Paint Matching Auctmarts Plastics

Hey all,

I wanted to consult the community here about how they were able to paint match a fairing set from Auctmarts, since I know people here have these sets. I've consulted their customer service and was told that they don't actually use a paint number/code, and that they can't ship their paint overseas. So, I contacted a local shop to paint it but was obviously asked for a paint code. When I mentioned that I already asked and that they didn't have one, I was told the color would be hard to match and they would have to "get close."

Has anyone had an experience like this? Do any of you have tips on what to do next (beside consulting another shop)?

Thanks in advance.

I've ordered from Color Rite and it's been a perfect match. They have their color codes as well as the OEM codes on their website ColorRite Motorcycle Paint

i bought aucmarts for a 08 gsxr 1000 back in like 2011

the fit was far from perfect, the paint itself was actually decent with very few minor running spots.

the pearl white/silver matched 98% spot on to the OEM fairings, so well that i actually sold my bike with like 80% auctmart fairings (only pieces left were like the undertail, 1 tail piece and the tank) back to a Suzuki oem dealer.

Any good shop should be able to match it as long as they have a piece to compare with, even if they don't have a code for that color.

Thanks for all of your replies. Since I already have these fairings, I'm going to have to ride the wave. I'm just going to take my business to another shop even if they quote me a higher price.

what are you doing?

paint matching other fairings to auctmart parts?

why not just buy the part painted from auctmart?

lol my original response was how the auctmart paint almost matches OEM paint like 98%
