Cbr 600rr vs. Zx6r

Is the CBR a wider bike than the zx6r? Really curious. Can't find the width on the CBR

i've had both bikes. current zx6r previous 08 cbr600rr. I really liked the 08 model. was a great feeling bike. The front of the bike seemed more proportionate than the zx6r..and i don't mean that as a good or bad thing. When I first saw the zx in person i was like wow the windshield seems small in ratio compared to the front fairings. I don't think either bike is noticeably bigger than the other though.

Something should go here..I just haven't though of anything clever enough yet.

Ergos I think the honda is slightly more comfortable. From a power standpoint you would be better off comparing the CBR1000 to the ZX6R..it would be closer.

Well I'm six foot and 220. I I don't want to look too big on my bike ya know. I use to have a CBR and now I have a Zx6r 09 and my CBR was an 08. I looked a 2016 CBR today and when you look at it then look out at my zx6r it gives the illusion that the CBR is bigger.

Lol, who cares how you look like on the bike?? haha...ride what is best for you not what makes you look big or small lol

I'm 5'11" and used to be 240 lbs at my peak (now 215), and I ride an R3, which is smaller than both the ZX6R and CBR. I've had a CBR600, a CBR500 (also smaller bike), and a Ducati 1198, which was easily the narrowest bike I've ever had by quite a bit. Smaller/lighter is better.

A friend has an 07 CBR600RR and to me it feels significantly smaller than the ZX-6R. It's quite a bit lower and the seat is narrower so shorter riders will have an easier time reaching the floor. It also feels really light, plastic light.

He agrees that the ZX feels far more powerful and better balanced. It's also more confidence inspiring not to have such soft rear suspension settings from the factory.

hmm.. I'm only 5'3" so I do notice these kinda stuff way more than other guys do.

The CBR600RR (2017 model) is definitely wider than ZX-6R (2017 model).

I did not like the CBR because it felt wider and even heavier. I like small and compact bikes because they're easier to handle.

The best ergo for me is the ZX-6R, MV Agusta F3 and Ducati Panigale. These bikes have narrow seat and very light weight feeling.

I had a 2012 ZX6r and now I have a 2016 CBR600. I am 6'5" and fit on both equally well...or equally poorly depending on how you want to look at it but the CBR definitely feels bigger to me.

This is probably all in my head and totally pointless since the Kawi was a much better bike, but perception can be reality sometimes as well.

I think it's because the CBR's seem a bit more bulky. Idk. A lot more fairing covering stuff.
