Poll: Do we need more moderators for the site?

The question is pretty self-explanatory, and I want to start with this simple question while I learn who's who around the site. So, do we?

BTW, I've made this a public poll, so everyone will be able to see who made what choices. That will not be the case if we move on to actually nominating people.

We're not at the nomination stage yet. Seems that there's quite a division here as to whether we even need a mod staff. I want to address that first.

Moderators are sometimes needed, but they should come from those with experience and the knowledge to prove it. The site seems to have been running fine, mods can be around, they just don't need to step in at every instance and ruin the fun that is had by all. Trolls can be dealt with by being ignored.

I think mods would be great especially if we the people of the forum can vote on who. I have three prime canidates if it makes it to that point.

Mods are sometimes needed, but I've seen too many of them turn into forum nazis... We don't need that kind....

Depends on the person I guess... But a nomination would be a good idea, there are quite a few really great people here...no offense Wera, I'm sure ur cool, but who are you?? Great bio, just read it, I guess it got some of us up-in-arms when you showed up closing threads etc... We are not used to that lol

M4 exhaust, OES Sliders, Pazzo levers, Power commander V and Autotune , Lightech Adjustable rearsets, Ohlins damper, Braided brake lines, Double bubble screen, Spiegler brake system, 6000k HIDS, LEDs, Comp Werkes Tail, Pilot Power 3's

literally all we need are a few stickies for maintenance/modifications/gear/etc and the occasional troll banning or duplicate thread erasing. all it takes is a single mod that can be here regularly.

create a section for MOD DECISION MAKING. if a mod has a proposal, post a yes/no poll thread in that section explaining the proposal. allow us to vote on it. decide based on our voting.

so if you want to ban a member, post a thread in the MOD section saying "Ban *insert member name*? then insert poll so we can vote.

Maybe like two good mods. Not ten. Some people power trip with something as trivial as an Internet forum.

More mods, maybe even an admin or two would help offload some work & stress for current staff members. Just my .02 cents worth
