you can run windows 7 on it still as long as you have like 1gb of ram. it will run better then xp does due to better memory management

Ain't my computer... and some of our dealer software runs on older versions of Windows. So it's whatever the IT dude gives me.

I just tried to perform a search, I entered in "How is this guy's point relevant to anything?" and it came up with zero matches. So let me be the first to address the issue.

Yes, take a minute and use Google. Do a Search and look at how many pages of shit come up. Then imagine how this forum is a much more scaled down version of Google with interactive members with often real-time feedback streamlined into various forums of pertinent information. So, the Search function is a tool to use not only as a courtesy to the other members utilizing this as a "service" but to the administrators who try to maximize the amount of qualitative content that is provided here.

So it's not at all about people NOT posting new information or asking new questions, it's about all of us, as members of this forum, applying a little presence of mind and checking first to see if the issue has already been addressed. Who knows, you might actually find a thread on the same issue, posted in the past that had some really awesome responses by knowledgable people who are no longer a part of this forum because they got tired of sifting through garbage to get to any real substance.

This won't be a problem because *I* refuse to look at a list of duplicate threads so instead of investing the time to merge them, I'll just start deleting them.

With that being said, Thanks to PG for taking the time to make this thread. I can tell you for a fact that there are plenty of people out there who don't even recognize that the Search Function exists, let alone how to use it.
