Question! Is the 2012 zx6r & 2013 zx6r front headlight FEARING Compatible?

Hello new to this and first post .. But I really like the 2013 zx6r front headlight Fearing + the headlights too and I was wondering if they are compatible with my 2012 zx6r??! I Hope so! 🙏🏻

I'm not sure if the headlight mount up points will be the same as they are different, but from what I've read and seen you can put the 2012 fairings on a 2013 as long as it's all the front pieces. Not just 2013 headlight with 2012 pieces.

They are not compatible. Its a different bike...different fitments.

If you wanted it to look right, it would have to be all or nothing.

Kawi made it damn near impossible to interchange body parts except for the tanks, seat, and windscreen.

The tank panels are the biggest difference, and the change in tank panels changed the tail fairing mounting point where the tank panels integrate.

My guess would be if you get the complete set lights + fairing they should be able to install to the 2012, only cosmetic differences, the chassis / frame still the same so the mounting spots should be the same. Just a guess.

They appear similar at first take, but the 2009-12 are different cats than the 2013-15.

The best way to do this mod is to buy a 13+.

It comes with a bunch of extras like 37ccs, traction control, etc.
