Question future ZX6R owner...

Hello all,
I am thinking to upgrade from a CBR300R to a ZX6R in the next week or so. Found a pretty good deal around where I live...
2014 ZX6R demo/auctioned with 300+ miles on it... going for about $7500+

Since ZX6R will be my 2nd bike... any advice on buying a demo bike? what do you guys think about the price?

Thanks

John

Price sounds really good. I tried to buy a demo, but dealers in my area didn't want to "deal" at all. If you get the bike I would do the first service immediately and then ENJOY the new bike.

300 miles is a pittance. Nothing, as far as the life of the bike is concerned. As has been said, I'd think getting them to do the first service before you roll it out after the sale would be wise. That's a lot of test drives at demos, etc. May have been as many as 30 different people riding that bike already. (with a built in rev limiter, and someone warming up the bikes before the riders get to play with them, I don't think they could do much in that time to do anything serious.)

More to the point, how many miles/hours do you have on the 300?

Thanks for the info guys. I got about 5000 miles in about 4 months owning that CBR300R. Mainly use it for commute and then some weekend rides... I will keep you guys posted. Kinda excited... love this 636

Does it still have any manufacturer warranty? I guess it should.

it comes with warranty, that's why i think it is a steal. finger crossed. Dealer is closed on Mondays, so I will try to give it a final visit tomorrow. Also a little crossed between the SEX3SEX vs CBR600 double R. I also found a bid sale from another local dealer.... we shall see...
