Haha fair enough! I can definitely see how the bike can get expensive especially with revzilla becoming my new homepage haha

Can't wait to start tracking this bike.

Ironically I wore out a rear set of ZR1 BFG's in only 5k. So that equation doesn't work on Vette...

And those tyres cost $1k each. So sometimes bikes are cheaper...

Do it. You will quickly forget riding on the street. That's what these things were designed for.

Actually it still works if you do the math. $4000 for those tires, and 5000 miles = $0.80/mile

On my bike I use 2 rears for every front, so 1 front and 2 rears costs me about $650 and they're trashed after about 400 miles, which equals about $1.62/mile...twice as expensive!

Well if we're gonna get technical here then we have to compare apples to apples, you can't compare pure track mileage on the bike to mixed road & track mileage, but enough of that, I mean the Corvette is almost 8 times the price here with barely half the fun

Haha. I used to think I was pretty passionate about Vettes (helped start the local Club, organise track days etc.). Bought the ZX6R and try prying me off that thing. Jesus!

True! That's why I used the "cost savings" rationale at the beginning mostly to convince my parents that was the reason I got a bike...of course I knew better....and little did they know then that my addiction to this would increase exponentially! ....to the point that last year I got my 2 current bikes, an enclosed trailer, and just recently a truck to make it easier on towing. All those are things I wouldn't have bought otherwise

It's a disease!

Hello and welcome!

You are going to love the M4 GP! You will want to get block off plates right away though, or else you will get a lot of popping noise from a slip-on exhaust during deceleration.

These are the ones I got after I installed my aftermarket exhaust: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...00-versys-1000

Yea, some people do like it, but most people always wonder what causes it and how to stop it. So, I figured I would mention it just in case.

Take it to Yas Marina Circuit and GoPro it to make us all uber jealous. After that, your Vetter will have a for sale sign on it.

I will definitely do that, just waiting on them to announce the date.

But given that it'll be my first track day on two wheels, a lot of YouTube racers won't be very happy haha
