My name is Jaime, 23, from New Jersey. I just bought a 2017 zx6r yesterday. Had the ninja 300 for a bit but decided it was time for an upgrade ☺ I assume my first purchases for it will be the fender elimintator kit & an exhaust if you would share your favorites with me? Thank ya, nice to meet y'all ??

What are you lookng for as far as an exhaust? Noise? Loudness? Performance?

Also, do you want a highmount or shorty? Need some ideas as far as your price range as well?

As far as a fendr eliminator, i know two bros carbon exhaust comes with a fender eliminator kit. Could kill two birds with one stone.

Where in jersey are ya at? Im grew up in somerset.

Lol I've been looking at two bros as we speak, so that could definitely be an option. Really just trying to cut some weight on the bike & make it louder (but not insane). I live in Pemberton, we've got a lot of deer out here so I want to scare them away lol price range, nothing crazy. $5-600 ish

Well i had an M4 Street slayer, Vance and Hines, and my Leo Vince that i rock now on my 2015 ZX-6R and the Vance was OBNOXIOUS and the M4 Street slayer wasn't my cup of tea either. I'm doing a Leo Vince full system for performance gains and a nice sound too. It wont break the sound barrier or anything but i love the look and i wanted to be different. Not a lot of people do the Leo. As for the Two bros they are like the Graves, M4GP and M4 Street Slayer. All them shorty pipes have quite a bit of sound from them with some slight differences in tone. It just depends on what you're after like Pinoy said above. You tube videos never really do justice as hearing them in person makes the video look like utter rubbish. Another cheap modification i would do to your bike is order two more front fender bolts and unscrew those orange reflectors. The bolts are like less than 2 bucks a piece and they will really clean up that fender quite a bit. Welcome to the club! Ride safe!

Wel-come. Pics dude. I want to see the 2017 in that white/silver scheme. Local shop is meant to be getting a ZX10R in that colour offering. Can't wait.

For the exhaust, loud can be fun, but it could get old depending on how much you ride and/or your situation.

That said, I have a Two Brothers. It makes me grin.

Nice bike you got there. I agree that, if you had a couple hundred bucks, it's better spent on rider instruction than on farkles.

Well I see you're in Cali and we're in NJ lol so shipping might automatically put his price over one of your local shops but sure if ya have any questions for him just let me know :smile

I run a window tinting & vehicle wrap business so I'm playing around with some pink vinyl to drop over all the green accents. I'm thinking all the white with just the subtle small pink accents will be enough with how bright the wheels are going to be. But who knows, I'll be playing around with it more once I see what the wheels look like on it

I never understood the people that powder coat their wheels white. They're only going to be white until they get put on the bike, then it's game over and look like crap.

But then again I don't like white on cars and bikes in general, not just wheels lol

I had the original two bros exhaust, the S1R looks slimmer. I would be curious to see if it allows enough clearance for rearsets
