Welcome. Where in VA?

3 track bikes, and a kid that rides as well?

Sounds good so far...

Are you open to adoptions? (jk)

I coach for morotcyclexitement and was racing with CCS the last couple of years. Taking this summer off from racing to just enjoy riding with her.

she's 18 now and has been on the 250 since she was 16, and has fun passing people in the corners.

Good stuff. Glad you can keep it in the family. I grew up riding with my brothers; I'm the only one still doing so. One still rides quads, he gets to ride them with his wife and daughter.

I'm less than 20 minutes from the new track Dominion racing put in at Thornburg..... haven't heard one positive motorcycle endorsement of that track to date. That's a pity. I'd really like to have a track that close, that was considered safe to run laps on.

In regards to dominion, The fact that multiple motorcycle track organizations gave them input while they were in construction,it is extremely disappointing that their recommendations weren't listened to.

I've talked with a couple of car guys who don't like running there either because of the walls.

Just started the tear down, inspection, cleaning process, body work arrives Wednesday and first track day with it is march 25/26 at ncbike.

Going to suprise her with the bike at the track as a early high school graduation present.

Can't see how to attach photos from my phone.

Oh man, what an awesome present that will be! You're definitely getting "dad of the year" award!

Welcome to the forum! Always nice to have another racer/track day enthusiast! I'm sure both you and your daughter will love the zx6r!

Figured out how to add pictures

Here is the bike starting tear down. Also started painting the body work today.

Since she isn't racing yet I found some awesome vinyl to do her number plates with.
