I Ride: ZX6R 636 -13
Greetings from Finland!

Hello All!

I am Daniel from Finland and have been following this forum for a while and decided to register and share some pics of my "green devil"

The riding season has just started here and picked up my bike from winter storage yeasterday from my local dealer. I have owned my 636 fro 1 year and keep liking it more & more time passes. This is my first sportbike and before this I rode a Suzuki Gladius for 5 season.

I am keen on adding new parts and my mods for this season are: GB racing cover, Öhlins steering damper, Healtech servo eliminator, Leovince decat, LSL levers & new model decals.

KR,
Daniel

Welcome. Great looking bike.

The gladius (aka sv650) is an awesome bike too. Especially this one that was used in the supertwin class

Great to have you in the Forum community, Daniel. You're not alone, regarding your "Honey moon" with your 636. I had previously not owned any 600-class sportbike, rather two decades of riding litre class sportbikes, and there are very real and not always subtle issues to acclimate to with regard to the 636. It took me the better part of nine months to do so. But once you 'turn that corner,' things become really very good.

Is your Leo Vince the Euro OEM option (US dealers have no such options)? It looks very nice. I had a Leo on my CBR 1K RR, and loved it. I look forward to reading/seeing the changes you put it through.

P.S. When you're out on your bike, going for rides, be sure to snap some photos of your dramatic countryside/architecture. Many of us greatly enjoy learning about other member's culture, riding experiences & modifications to their Zeds (I have a degree in Bio-cultural Anthropology, so I may be at the head of that list).

Cheers

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

I will definitely snap photos of my living area (Helsinki) and my favorite riding routes. Due to our climate, we only have 6 months riding season in the year.

The Leovince Slip on is the one you could order straight from Kawasaki's official parts catalogue, and is the so called homologaded version. Europe is really strict with emissions, and having added the Leovince De Cat pipe, my solution become basically illegal. The sound is amazing, and think that it was worth it! ;-).

In the mean while, I' ll share these photos with you.

I also do track days once in a while. Here I am in a forest circuit near to Helsinki. Sorry for the bad quality :-)
