03 ZX6R Chain & Sprockets

I am new rider this year and I need a new chain and sprocket set for my bike does anyone have any recommendations for me? I would prefer a whole set that comes with everything I need.

I prefer to go to motomummy or eBay for my chain kits. Motomummy makes it very easy to use and they give you the details of what you are buying. I have had great success with the RK chain kits at a decent price. Your stock hearing is 15/40, IDK what you currently have on the bike. This kit I included in the link below is right for you. When you get more advance and want more power to the wheel, that is when you begin looking at things like aluminum rears and super light weight 520 chains.

Where abouts in MN are you?

I have sets on hand for 250 installed
PainfullySlo likes this.

Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

I have the same bike as you. I recently ordered and received this kit I found on eBay. It's OEM gearing, 15 tooth front, 40 tooth rear JT sprockets with D.I.D. VX2 chain. Shipping was pretty quick.

^ while cheap......that is a clip master link (although for $5 you can get a rivet type)and crappy sprockets (poor quality control)

But to each his own.....
