Uk Newbie

Hi all,

Just joined after recently acquiring a 2016 Zx6r KRT model.

Wanted to get back to Supersports as I personally enjoy riding them more on the UK roads to Superbikes, yeah I miss the extra grunt a little perhaps but you can't really use all that power on the road that much plus haven't the extra dough these days to do track stuff on em, where you can really abuse the litre bikes.

Test rode a 636 and Gsxr750 and fell in love with the Kwacka straight away, looks and performance top of the class imo.

See you around on the forum..

Welcome. I have been riding with a bunch of Brits and other Scotish and Irish guys lately. You guys are a funny bunch but just as crazy as us Americans. I love it.

Welcome to Planet Green, mate.

The best advice I ever received was "Just look pretty and try not to break anything."

1999 ZX6R (G2) - Pipewerx exhaust (dB killer removed) | Dynojet Stage 1 | K&N air filter | flushmount front LED indicators | Clear LED tail light with integrated indicators | Scottoiler eSystem | Pyramid Plastics hugger | HID headlight | Stubby levers | HEL braided steel lines | 07 ZX6R radial master cylinder | Bar-end mirrors | Double-bubble screen | Crash bobbins | one hell of an anal-retentive owner.

Good on ya mate, for putting up with us jammy buggers from North America. I'm not sure if you're all nutters - you live too far in the South (lovely county, though). Seems the real nutter are exponential once one go to the North.

Do be kind and share with us pix from your rides.

Any plans to modify your ride? If so, what? And if not, why not

Cheers.

@ZedExMuse - As Lewis Carroll wrote the Cheshire Cat as saying, "We're all mad here."

And potential modification plans should definitely be posted on here. That way we can all howl at your choices, and explain - ad nauseum - why ours are better.

Aahhh yes, Lewis Carroll... I absolutely loved his stories as a child; my addictions to fast motorbikes and loud guitars pale by comparison to his addictions. But he validated my minor lunacy by allowing it to be acceptable. It was a matter of uniqueness.

I concede Britain does have its charming, daft, and yes mad personalities. Aahhh, but if one truly wanted mad just try and trump the addressee of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500, now there's a bona fide nutter. Yes again, I concede the U.K. has had its share of demented, crackbrained, and plane mad leaders. Your Theresa May is level-headed bland by contrast. But for contemporary times, our nutter is nuttier than yours - we win!

Ah, yes. Your elected Cheetoh.

I've tried some seriously trippy shit in my life, but I couldn't even guess what that lunatic has in his morning IV bag.
