New from AZ

Hello people! Just signed the papers for a 2017 ZX6R non ABS unit from Kelly's Kawasaki in Mesa Arizona, and waiting on the bank to fund the dealer then I get my keys! super excited and been waiting for this moment for about 20 years!

A little introduction!

Name is Jack, 36 years old and been riding about a year and a half. I started with a 2015 Yamaha YZF R3 in blue and was in love! amazing nimble bike, fun to ride, got great looks and looked great! Ive always wanted more, and going from a 2cyl 37hp streetbike to a 4cyl 131hp bike. Ive already ordered a fender eliminator kit and next will be tank protectors and eventually a slip on.

Got a good deal since the lot had a few 2016 KRT units. I am not a fan of the green everything, so i put the foot down and got a fair price for a 2017 in white.

So, again, saying hello and I look forward to posting and reading ALOT here!

Welcome! I think you'll like the ZX6R. At 36, you're probably mature enough to make more reasonable decisions about speed, behavior, and appropriate places to enjoy the capabilities of the bike.

I personally think that taking the couple hundred bucks for the slip-on is probably better spent on a trackday or one-day riding school, but to each their own. I know the sound with the slip on is a lot nicer than the stock buzz. That said, I have a dual Two Brothers exhaust on mine. It came that way, but I love it compared to stock. So I say one thing, but I would want a slip on for my bike, too.

Never ride faster than you can stop

Awesome, another AZ guy in here. Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new bike...just in time to die with the rest of us in the heat Some food for thought, if you can justify it, maybe order some Chinese fairings for like $700 and keep your oem nice in case you ever decide to sell for whatever reason. Either way, congrats again and stay safe.

Something should go here..I just haven't though of anything clever enough yet.
