So I just got my driver's permit on Friday 9/23/2011. I passed first try and got 19/20 questions correct. Been driving some and going to drive tonight then a longer drive tomorrow. Haven't had any close wrecks yet and drove in the rain.
It's quite easy and faily fun!! Just gotta log in some driving for 50 hours in 6 months then get my driver's test. Right after that I have to answer 19/25 questions to get my motorcycles permit ina few months then i'll be cruizing on my sixxer(:

Thanks guys!! Next July is a date for me to remember.
I just drove on a rainy (1 hour ago) road that was realllly sharp twists. Not like nice knee dragging curves.. They were like almost intersection curves at 25mph. All this in the dark haha. Little nervous but did freeway driving. Messed up my my first time: was coming to a stop, turned my turn signal on and another car came so I forgot my high beams. Got the rest descent.

and he's talking about the motorcycle permit! get it! you have to hold it for X amount of time before your license.

Permit: age 15 pass 19/25
Liscence: age 16 pass driving test
Motorcycle permit: age 16 have liscence pass 19/25
MC Liscence: age 16 have permit for 7 days pass safety course

Ahh, in Ohio it was 15 1/2 you could get your motorcycle and driving temps. For driving you had to log 50hrs in car with an adult and pass drivers ed and the written and in car exam once you turned 16. for Motorcycle temps you could ride by yourself, obviously, but had to wear a helmet, couldn't ride on the highways, or after dark, or with a passenger, and had to wait till you were 16 to take the written and on bike test for your license.
