Thanks for the nomination Ben....I ain't got a hope in hell against the other bikes that are up this month but weirder things have happened I guess

A closer look at the bike :

Mods list is :

Dyno jet stage one
Full Nikko exhaust system
Gearing is running at -1/+3
Rear tyre has been changed from 160/60 to a 180/55 (same rim)
Different paint job all done by me
Recovered seats in a red leather by myself
Usual crap like mini LED blinkers, tail tidy etc

And in case anyone is willing to go for the sympathy vote.....It's my 30th in a few days.....Vote for me and make me want to go on living

Kate Kate Kate, You sound a bit down sweetheart. Lets not have any of that.
The Doctor suggest you go out, right now & do something that makes you feel better.
Were I there Id rub your shoulders & place soft kisses on the back of your neck.
maybe a foot massage & brew you up some tea.

Back to the bike, For those who don't know or may have forgotten, Kate did the paint & stickers herself.
Plus recovered the seats.

just a question
what's the point of listing upgrade's down with the picture's of the bike?
to me it's pointless
take the photo as face value of the bike ,if you like it or not
as its just seems to be for fun
i know of a bike on here that has had 2k plus thats in pound's not dollar's spent on part's just inside the engine without all the mod's for the engine and without the rest of the upgrade's on the bike which frankly is a list and a half, but that hasnt listed down.
just seem's weird having list's after the photo's that all

Well a lot of the members on here have watched bikes changes so its interesting to those of use that like to see the bikes improve, well similar to my bike joined to forum with my bike stock and well its definitely not stock anymore. Its interesting to see how each person has made it there own.

Then don't vote :O

#41 ·
I think it's just a matter of listing everything that makes the bike unique to that person. I kind of understand what you're saying though, for example when people ask me what all I have done to my car I only list off the performance upgrades, not the aesthetic.

I think its best for newbies to list what they've done to there bike,
But some like Mark for instance don't really have to be we all (or most) of us know his bike well.
We've followed his threads closely, Technically though by the rules, he should.
maybe I should as I'm the one who nominated the bike.
As far as I know though, He has never made a list of the engine mods, He has told me a bit about them, But not enough for me to list em.

Jack if you could compile a list, Shoot it to me in a pm & I'll install it into the nomination post. Or not.

But back to your main point, I get exactly what your saying, Hell Iv posted err complained about this very thing.
Ad-ons & stickers do not empress me like a bike that's been loved on & massaged like Marks.

Sometimes though stickers & a few bits here & there, If done well can make a damn good looking bike.
And when you think about it, All were voting on is a pic.
