MotoGP Laguna Seca 2012

So allow me to first express my disappointment that no one on this forum has even remotely expressed interest in MotoGP. What the fuck is wrong with you people? Seriously!

Oh wait... I'm not surprised.

So anyway, for those of you that aren't on my Facebook, and haven't yet been linked to my Photography page.... bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

Youre still reading? But there are pictures!

And it all started on Ducati Island...

Ducati was kind enough to provide the Panigale, in all of it's torn down glory, on display with the accompaniment of an engineer to answer all of your deepest darkest questions about it's design... Seen here is the motor:

Lovin that rear suspension mount:

This particular motor, pulled from a race bike was being repaired before our very eyes:

If you're going to own one, you'll need a setting such as this:

Woah woah woah, I have great interest in the big boys. I was trying to swing Indianapolis later, but with full time work and full time grad school it's tough .

That and I'm just depressed with what's been going on with Spies. Making good pole then losing his position, crashing in Seca, probably leaving the circuit next year ugh.

I'm extremely jealous you were able to go. I watch every GP, Moto2, Moto3, AMA superbike, and supersport race. So there are some of us that are actually into the sport

Now I just need to find a way to get to Isle of Man next year...

Thanks for the great pics btw!

For real. I actually hope Rossi crawls back to Yamaha and gets his shit together again.

Are you referring to the AMA race where Hayes shat on everyone?

Hayes has a tendency to do that from time to time

In the end, all you really have is body and mind.

For real. It would be nice to have another solid performing American among all those Italians and Spaniards. I wouldn't mind rootin for Hayes among a different crowd as well. Just can't get over how Spies is just going downhill. I think Spies and Hayes need to switch spots asap.

All I took with me was my zoom lense... which made it interesting trying to get a decent shot from within a crowd, but it didn't do half bad with the action. Those bikes were movin pretty quick, I'm suprised the shots weren't more blurry.
