MotoGP Photos

So, I've been looking through the photography threads for a bit and have noticed a lot of track day and racing shots. Lots of good stuff out there and I thought I would share a few shots I took while I was at the Indy MotoGP race back in 2011.

Keep in mind I didn't have the luxury of shooting with the pros and most of my shots were taken while shooting through safety fence and bumping into other amateurs.

Here are 5 random pics. Enjoy.

It doesn't look to me like this held you back at all. Incredible shots man, some of those are hard to tell that they're not from a pro!

Thank you for the kind words. I guess I'm my worst critic. Here are a few more.

Those guys are so mind blowingly fast and if you're not on your toes, you catch them halfway through the frame. I remember Casey Stoner getting so low in one of the corners he would actually disappear over the side of the bike. Just an arm and a leg was all you could see.

Enjoy!

I'd have to say this was my favorite candid shot of the weekend. Pretty ballsy to ride 2 up at the speeds they were running! Still pretty cool.

Nice shots, I love the first one with Pedrosa. I'm entirely surprised at the camera placement being so...archaic compared to everything else on the bike. I expected it to be completely flush with the rest of the bodywork.
