Powergroove's edit motivated me to take a shot at it too. Quick job, maybe some exposure issues, unless the bike was shot with off camera flash

Since we're talkin' "shop"... and messing with backgrounds... this is one I did a few weeks ago. Notice also the trash can and cones are gone in the edited ones... Clone stamp FTW!! (probably could've worked a bit more on that shadow behind the trash can though .. )

Original...

Nice work! Definitely a more lively image without the plain white sky. Took me awhile to find the trashcan. Hard to find those things like your shadows when you don't know what you're looking for.

CS2 is free now (sort of, depending on your perspective). Kozaru has a pretty good primer on this site somewhere that includes the links. Hopefully he jumps in now and links to it.

With CS2, you could do just about anything you want.

But yeah CS 6 is pretty awesome.

LOL you guys are free to take the image and do what you will with it

There have been some really nice edits. I really like that graffiti wall background. Looks fantastic.

Goal should be to make your subject pop. In the before the bike was poping beautifully, in the Photoshop version it now blends in with the background. Also the text is very basic and lame. If you want to create a promotional ad look up samples online as reference and go from there. Try to recreate what is already selling and then do your own thing. Otherwise you will not really get anywhere good.

Thats just my opinion, but what do I know...
