Not really motorcycle related but it's too cold and icy for me right now so eff it.
Don't have quite the lense or the megapixels for moon photography, but while I shop for a newer DSLR I've decided to practice on the one I have, which is a perfectly good camera. I'm just spoiled.
Hehe it's hard to do, and unlike many other kinds of shots the right equipment can really make a difference. My shot is a crop: the full picture looks like lots of black sky with a small moon in the middle, even at 200mm. I shot it at ISO 1600 (probably not necessary, but I was hand-holding), 1/1250 shutter, f5.6. It took several tries to dial it in! The trick though with any camera is shoot like it's daylight, because it basically is (the sun reflecting off the moon).
Really need a longer lens, or maybe just some more megapixels. Been eyeing the D7200 for a while now...
