I was on a pretty big group ride a while ago, 250+ bikes, and decided to hang out at the apex of a couple corner or two and capture some of the action.

Now, this was a noob-oriented ride, put together for local riders with around 3k in the saddle, so the goal was safe strategies and group riding etiquette. So, there are no extreme lean angles or anybody getting their knee down or anything "fun" but I did manage to get a few shots of a couple other riders who were running between groups

This was in April, and I'm just now sorting through the last of the pictures

Here are a few from before lunch, then a couple from the lunch stop itself. You can get an idea of just how massive the group was.

damn that is a lot of guys. I wish we could get that many people together around here.

...and no cops, huh. Looks like a blast, could never find that many rides around here. Plus the most of roads suck donkey.

Having that many riders together is nice to see, but sucks to ride with. The guy who organized the ride was amazing and broke everybody up into groups of 7-10, plus lead and sweep, and there were somewhere around 25 or 28 groups.

I prefer smaller rides, 3-5 bikes. That's why I offered to play photographer for the day
