Brad, I painted all but the center line & spokes.
I used Rustoleum self etching primer & there wheel coat in steel.
Then Duplicolor clear wheelcoat.
The blue I did with a wild hair, lol. Its Duplicolor engine blue.
I'm painting my bike stand, It was getting some rust so I striped the paint & rust.
Primmered it & I'm going to finish it in the blue, (I think)

That zip-tie is no-longer, While I had the wheel off I got in there & drilled
& ran a self taping screw in it. (now I'm hoping I don't find it in my tire)

Here are the #s,
Left side spacer 15.5mm.
Right side spacer 15mm.
Caliper bracket,
@ the axle 13.5mm.
@ the caliper bolt holes 15.5mm.
Body from the lower bolt hole down,11mm.
All this removed from the right side. (next to swingarm)
Also you may need to remove 1-3mm from the caliper where it joins to the bracket bolt holes,
& about 1mm from the back side there too.
Also you may need to remove 2-4mm from each inside leg of the swingarm.
Plus 3-5mm from the caliper stud located on the inside right leg of the swingarm.(the high welds there)
Those were my Measurements, Yours may vary, >>Remember what counts is
everything has to lineup, Brake caliper on the rotor.
Chain on the sprocket & rear sprocket with the front sprocket.
Rear wheel with the front wheel.<<
So more or less material may need to be removed,
You will need to check it frequently as you go to assure a proper fit.
Good luck.
Its all straight & as it should be,
I could not sleep nights if it were anything other than as near perfect as I can get it.

Hell yeah, Michael. I like that hanger. I was considering starting a thread on my bike. Some may be interested in it.
Looking at your wheel paint and whatnot, it's making me more antsy to get my swingarm back from the powder coater.

Iv about decided the blue hub is just not cutting it.
Just not working for me, So I think Ill go back to silver.
Also I'm not sure about the hugger, Id like your help,
Should the hugger stay or go
Iv also just painted my mirrors a satin black.
Yep was setting in SubWay the other day & looking @ the bike,
I suddenly decided the carbon look mirrors had to go. http://zx6r.com/attachment.php?attac...1&d=1303228328 http://zx6r.com/attachment.php?attac...1&d=1303228304 |
