I'm one of those guys that will find a way to modify almost anything so it's the way I want it or different from the rest. My name means "wagon maker" so I guess I was destined to work with my hands in that kind of way. Since I can't ride due to weather & needed to do maintenance I figured I'd extend that project just to keep me busy during the off season. I see we're a bunch of picture people around here so leme STFU & post the pics!
During the "keep me busy" work.
I lowsided this past March & scuffed my stator cover. Hated the bronze color anyway so I matched the stator cover, water pump, front sprocket & clutch cover to the frame plus painted all the bolts blue. Even the rotors, rear sprocket, heel guards & chain guard bolts got painted.
I kinda wanted to give this look a try to see if I like it. Came out pretty good but some riding time will tell if it stays. I tapped them into my city light.
I wired up some LED turn signals on my rear pegs last winter during my boredom. It took about 7 pics before I could catch them lit up with the flashers on.
My winter pic. It was 8 degrees outside.
My Fieldsheer Armadillo back/chest protector I had airbrushed.
A lot of nights after work & weekends spent in the garage with the dog & kerosene heater toasty while doing maintenance, checks, mods, installs & random "I'm not done yet" things just to keep me occupied. Winter sucks but in the end I did the work, saved a lot of money & now...I have to look at it another month & half.

I could've waited to start this whole thing next month but those random nice days are approaching. It's supposed to be 54 degrees on Monday. I bet I won't be the only bike on the road.
