PCV+SFM+speadohealer+pipercross filter installation

Hey guys at the weekend i installed some parts for my bike that i had waiting to go on, here goes.

ok first thing i stripped the bike so i could get at everything without struggling
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

then i removed the airbox to reveal the the stock airfilter
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

once i took the stock filter out i slipped the pipercross filter in and jobe done the airbox lid went back on
[IMG][/IMG]

once the airbox was done up i Installed the PCV+SFM inder the riders seat brace, i thought about putting them in the under the rear seat but with my alarm and toolkit (which i like) there wasnt enough room

once these were in situation i ran the PCV+SFM loom up the left hand side of the bike as the injectors run left to right, in this pic ive tried to show the lower injectors with the pcv harness plumbed in
[IMG][/IMG]

and this is the pic of the SFM plumbed in and im showing the upper injectors

then once the injectores were on i bolted the power commander and sfm to the negative on the battery, then taking the grey wire from the pcv i located the yellow wire with white line in my ecu and connected the grey wire of the pcv this is called the hot wire, presumably this give it a live feed when the ignition is on

before i put the bike back together i located the plug for the speedohealer which popped up on the right hand side of the bike under the tank, the easiest way to locate this plug is to follow the wire from the front sprocket engine casing, so i routed the wire to the speedohealer at the rear of the bike and set all perameters to 1.1.1 this gives me -11.1% to account for a -1 front sprocket 43T rear sprocket and stock tyres 180/55/17, the speedo healer also records the fastest speed at the press of a button which was supplied with the speedohealer
[IMG][/IMG]

hope you guys enjoy the pics and i hope they help anybody who's unsure of doing this job, its very easy, im not mechanicly gifted and it took me around 3 hours from start to finish and i took my time

You should have got a servo buddy on there at the same time. Plenty of room for the PCV after you take the servo off.

i just done mine that way.

Sexy work mate!

When will you get her tuned? or going for a full exhaust setup first?

was thinking of a servo buddy, i might still get one coz the servo motor clicks back and forth and annoys me lol

im not to sure Fletch, im hoping with the RP-1GP silencer which scorpion claim 4-7bhp and the power commander+SFM + filter and hopefully link pipe and decat stock headers im hoping for 8-10bhp but im hoping it gives a stronger midrange, i'll be sure to post up dyno figures when i have it done

This is for you ratty, i got the servo buddy and re-routed the PCV+SFM into the space where the servo motor was

Looking good. i just got mine dyno'd. 118.46hp. thats with a can, filter and PCV. Mates one is same plus decat and his does 118.7hp but mine is stonger in the upper midrange. His has a baffle in though.

Thats interesting mate i was gonna de-cat my headers and fit a link pipe but if theres only 1bhp in it then i dont think i will bother mate, my RP-1GP has the baffle in and im gonna leave it in to be honest, i plan on having it dyno'd in the next month or two to really get it running bang on with all the mods, at the minute ive noticed a little popping on deceleration and the odd backfire when coming down from high revs

Not stupid at all mate, if you dont know or not sure just ask, its the only way to find out mate

The servo buddy allows you to remove the redundant servo motor that isnt needed when you put an aftermarket exhaust on your bike it tells the bike all is how it should be with the servo and stops the "FI light" coming on on the dash plus its as lite as a feather too.

The PC3usb only controls 4 injectors on older bikes, on newer bikes the PC5+SFM allows control of all 8 injectors and this gives smoother fueling and more fine tuning for better gains, also the PC5 is smaller and can be programmed off the bike with out a 9v battery it will power up just by the usb lead

as long as you still have it the FI light wont come on.. but as soon as you remove the servo motor thats when you get the FI light
