I took an old front wheel set-up and converted it into a custom clock for the garage.
Used a sawzall to cut out the hub, then repainted the rotor and wheel. Picked up a donor clock at Target for parts - painted hands. Sandwiched a metal electrical outlet cover between the rotor and wheel to mount the clock mechanism. Sunk a lag bolt into a stud to support the weight - inserts into the upper spoke hole to mount.
Wife was busting my balls for spending time on this, but I think it turned out great. |

Dude that's bad ass!!! I've got a messed up rear wheel that I'm still holding onto. I wanna make it into a table for my garage. Or make it an end table for when I get my man cave going.
