Yeah the no free shipping would suck living there & as far as shops not intstalling tires they sold, any car tire mounting machine will do the same job. We do it at work all the time. All you need to do is remove one rotor so the clamps will have clearance to grab the rim. With 10 riders at my job we've done it several times without fail. As far as balancing you can buy the stand/weights or use Dynabeads. I'm using them this year to see how I like them.

I've fitted my own tyres a few times, hard but doable with levers and a cheap bead breaker. No clue on how to get them shipped to Hawaii though!

Actually, the 75$ to change the tires is pretty good, especially if they are on the bike... here it's about 40$ a tire if they are on the bike..
