So through ironpony.com I purchased my third item, that being the a* apex leather pants...
Listening to sportbiketrackgears.com's a* sizing video where they said take your waist size +18 and thats what you will be in a*.. They said if you have larger legs and or calves go +1 or +2 more..
I chose to take the +18 route which im liking the way they fit.. I do have stacked legs and larger than normal calves so i could of and prolly should of went the +1 extra... but they will break in and stretch to perfect i think..
the pants slid on without a problem.. and i have to say these things felt CRAZY!!.. felt like i was in a spacesuit lol..
everything felt very nice pre calves being zipped up.. once i sat down and noticed that my calves didnt look like they were going to squeeze into the pants... It took me about 10 min to get my calves zipped up lol..
once all zipped up these things felt awesome!! they felt like what i would believe a race suit would feel like.. they were not too tight but everything was nice and snug.. the calves at this point zipped up felt great.. not too much tight at all.. (ive been really active today so i should have a decent swell going on lol)
i grabbed my a* gp-r jacket and zipped it on.. then put my a* smx-5's on.. I felt invincible..
So from ironpony i paid $189.99 shipped to my door when they are normally $330.. PLUS!!!! they sent me a free tshirt... ill get pics of that later.. i forgot it in the camaro
OHHHH YEAHHH!!!!
AND WHAT HICKY WILL LOOK LIKE IN MY SET UP |

Congrats on a full suit bro!! I felt invincible the first time I wore mine too. It must've been 115 degrees outside and I was sweating my ass off, but I took them out on the streets for a test run =P

they are a 38 euro ond... and w/o watching the video again.. i think there is more stretch panels.. the pucks are of a more dense compount so it lasts longer and gives a different feel.. they are perforated?.. they also have a calf expansion panel which would of been nice for me lol..
I will add... that i will be wearing Underarmour heatgear pants... it will wick moisture away and keep me cooler than without... also getting in and out will be much easier..

I wear the same under my suit. I once wore my suit without anything else other than boxers...it was damn near impossible to get out of.

How tall/ heavy are you? I was thinking of picking some up although I do have a full suit coming....
I bought the SP2 gloves they have on sale and they came today! They seem like a good company to deal with from my experience

Iv got two pair of astars track pants, a size 30/46 for summer & a size 32/48 for winter.
Right my 30s are a euro size 46. A 38? You must be tinny!
I use the Underarmor heatgear for winter, & summer the thin slippery stuff.(makes getting into & out of the leathers easy.)

Normally I'm a 29-31, Right now I use suspenders with my 32s, there heavy & want to slide down, There a tad big on me.
I can barely button my 30s, at the moment, But I'm gonna trim down in the spring.
I'll be fit for the Dragon ride.
