I Ride: 2015 30th anniversary ZX-6R
Probably ought to have posted here some while back, but either out of laziness, lack of desire, or general insecurities I never got around to it. So without further ado, here's my 2015 30th Anniversary Special Edition 636:
Pic. 1) This is what preceded the slippery slope of a habitual modder. I was sideswiped by a mule deer (they are particularly robust sub-species of deer) over in Eastern Oregon ~ >20-miles SW of Hermiston, OR in May '15. After I did the tear down to repair the damage, the wheels in my cerebral cortex started to spin.
Pic 2) One can note the Yoshimura slip-on; Rizoma Rearsets ; Tech Spec Tank Grip; Zero Gravity Draguns Tail Saddle; Woodcraft Front Axle Sliders, Woodcraft Starter Idle Gear Assembly Engine Case Cover, Woodcraft Folding Toe Pegs [X2], Woodcraft Frame Sliders; LighTech chain adjusters [gold] & lifters [black]; Kawasaki Engine Case Sliders, Kawasaki Rear Seat Cowl [green]; H.I.D. 8000-K headlights; Clever Wolf carbon fibre Tank Guard; Core Moto Front Brake Lines [Kawi green/gold], Core Moto Rear Brake Line [Kawi green/gold]; Cox Radiator Guard [green];CRG Arrow Mirrors [X 2]; and lots of carbon fibre either by Carbon2Race, Attack Racing, or Tekarbon.
Pic. 3) Photo is from latter Spring of '16, and it highlights me using front turn signals for a GSX-R as mirror block-off plates, these are produced by Hotbodies Racing Flush-mount LED Turn Signals; Ivan’s KLEEN Air Induction/Block-off Plates Kit [black]; LighTech LED rear turn signals, Angled [amber]; MotoDynamic Fender Eliminator, MotoDynamic Sequential LED Tail Lights [smoke]; RK GB520-XW-Ring Chain; Supersprox Hybrid Rear 520-45t Gold sprocket [+2]; Vortex 520-16t Front Steel Countershaft sprocket [-1]; and Yamaha R6 Quick Turn Throttle tube.
Pic. 4) Highlights the stellar workmanship that goes into the Rizoma rearsets with the Woodcraft Folding Toe Peg; also, the excellent workmanship of the Tekarbon carbon fibre heat shield.
Pic. 5) Is a bit more subtle, but one can note the front and rear full floating Brake Tech brake rotors. A little bit harder to see is the beautiful craftsmanship that went into the totally custom saddle & pillion seat; also of note is the green mini mid cowling that went from black to green.
