I did the most recent one at Shannonville long track, before that was TMP Cayuga. I'm going to Mosport July 8th for Racer5 race school and then back at Shannonville on the 12th and TMP on the 14th and 15th.

Racer 5 and Rider's Choice both host great trackdays with lots of experienced riders to help you out, give either one a call you can't go wrong.

I don't really see a point in repainting the plastics till the season is done, not that I plan on going down again....

And I know, I know I'm working on em, I'm still a pussy in some areas my knee touches but I still can't use the whole tire. I was told I need to look through the turn more like look up the track.

Do it, It's a great course, teaches you a lot of basics but not necessarily needed to do a track day. But if you want to use somebody else's bike for your first time out I understand.

I do most of my days with Rider's Choice and every time I'm there there are people at the track for the first time. I learned a lot from John and Matt McBride's at Rider's Choice track days. I would suggest them for your first time out, but you can't go wrong either way

Had another track day last thursday, I got a quick video to hear the exhaust +gutted headers but my camera's sound quality is questionable. It sounds much better in person, similar to the M4 gp just a little more refined and a little more high pitch

09 ZX6R with MJS Headers+ custom mount Leo Vince Factory R II ti slip on - YouTube

Here is how she stands now

I've been scanning ebay and other sites trying to find TTX , Brembo 19x18 and a few other bits with no luck, so in the meantime I've been trying to get in as many track days as possible. I plan to hit another one on the 19th and I'm still waiting on some pics of the race course I took on the 8th.

Thanks man!
I mounted it differently to eliminate the hanger, this slip on is meant to go into the pre chamber, I eliminated the pre-chamber and any need for a mid pipe by running the mid pipe it came with straight from my gutted stock headers.

It took some work, the hooks for the exhaust springs had to be moved and re-welded and the pipe had to be stretched to fit the headers.

I don't see why you can't do that to your Akro, that is what I planned to use at first. You will probably have to shorten the can and mod the mid pipe as well but I think it could be done.

I haven't updated this in awhile,I took a few pics of her today after I threw on some vinyl. Still have to put on the keyless gas cap before thursday, which will be my 9th track day this year. I was hoping to get 15 in this season but it looks like I am going to fall short but I'm happy with that nonetheless.

At my last few track days there hasn't been a photographer so I have no pics, but I'll be back out to my 4th track this season on thursday and I will get some shots then hopefully.

+1

Any wreck over 50 mph is going to fuck the bike up no matter if you had sliders on or not. The way to go are case sliders to avoid cracked/broken stator cases or starter gear covers.

I would recommend you reading twist of the wrist II by kieth code and make sure you get those tires heated up by doing at least a couple laps on a cold day with lower tire pressures since you don't have tire warmers.

Throttle up, knee down and pray!
My monster decals make 20 ft-lbs of static pressure transducer horsepower to the vtec controller boost gauge!
