Thanks man, Really fast track, the back straight is so long that the superbike guys were topping out at just over 300k!!!This track kicked my ass that day, I actually came off it feeling really down and like I was making no progress, all the elevation changes at the track were hard to get used to but my next day showed that I had learned a few things.

Thank you sir, My best advice would be start planning and saving for trackdays for next season now, it will make things easier on you overall. ie get your boots one month, get your pants or suit the next month and just get it all together piece by piece.

good call thanks man, I was trying to figure out the best way to budget that but that'd definitely make it easier over the winter

So I got in another trackday yesterday, the last of the season at my home track. Overall I'm very happy with the progress I have made since April. This was my 11th or 12th day so far I think, I'm now running in intermediate group, at a decent pace, not the fastest in intermediate but not the slowest either lol.

This day was not very busy so the groups were mixed with alot of the Fast/advanced guys mixing it up with us slower ones. I should have some go pro footage shortly, I just have a couple of eye candy pics from the season I found in my camera that I will share till then.

My bike nothing new, but I wish I got more pics of the custom 78 Kawi behind it though.

This zx6r is a beast puts down 119hp on the dyno I think and was kicking ass this season. This is my inspiration for my bike, full Ohlins front and back etc...

This is the Championship winning Factory ZX10r from last year, too many cool things to list on this bad boy

Check out the brake reservoir from a motorcross bike

One more of Mr #13 himself!! Many thanks to him and the whole Rider's Choice crew for all their help and patience of dealing with me and working with me over the season. That beemer was on a few podiums this season not sure where he ended up in the CSBK championship but if you don't know he kicks ass!!

This guy's front brakes locked up coming down the back straight!!! Lucky bugger walked away with a sore ankle!!!

Here's a quick clip of me hitting Turn 1 @ Shannonville, Long Track.

Turn 1 Shannonville - YouTube

I still have a lot to improve but I was hitting my lines pretty consistently all day I just need to stop being a pussy. I need to be more confident and need to carry more speed, as you can see I come off the gas way to early. Nonetheless it's still much better than I was doing a few trackdays before.

I am not 100 percent but you could send them an email on the site or just give them a call, I was in there earlier today and they had a big stack there so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem.

So I finally got some gopro footage of a buddy following me, but unfortunately it's only my two warm up laps, nonetheless it helps me to see my bp which needs work and my lines which I think are pretty good, there are still a few corners I mess up and there is lots of room for improvement.

WARM UP LAPS @ SHANNONVILLE SEPT 20/12 - YouTube

It's my first video so please excuse the rough edit lol

It is soo good that u can see ur mistakes that is 75% of the Battle .
These corners are not that bad as u think so if i were u i will break at the 25 feet mark from the center of the corner ( just give it a nice Squeeze ) roll then pick it up as soon as u pass the center of ur corner..

It looks to me from ur Video ur breaking hard way before ur corner and by this ur losing to much speed and ur to tense relaxing with a Big smile as u approach the corner will do wonders

and i Bet if u replace ur tires with track tires ( take ur pick ) u will see a whol new comfort in turning

Hop this helps u out

have fun be safe

Keep in mind these were warm up laps and i was trying to get some heat in the tires, but you are 100 percent right, I either brake to early or roll off the gas wayyyy to early and coast in. I also noticed I'm not getting on the gas quick enough coming out of most corners, there's really only two where i get a good drive.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and I appreciate all the tips, definitely helps. New tires and tire warmers are on the long list of things to get over the winter.

DO NOT get tire warmers u will be spending money for no reason and they effect the life of the tire and the tire tread believe me been there .. just start cold one good lap and ur good to go
