I Ride: 09 ZX6R (track only) 04 CR85R
Finally some parts I ordered before the holidays showed up..

It's been a long time coming, picked up the MotoHolders fairing stay with carbon fibre scoop, I've read some reports that it carries a larger volume of air than the OEM.

Carbonin carbon fibre toe guard

Also I've been working on building up the CR85 to a proper supermoto to possibly run a race or two in the local supermoto series this year as well to have a training bike. I managed to pick up a used set of 17" Excel wheels laced with stock hubs and already has a set of slicks already mounted.

The benefit of these over the 12" is that I can run slicks as well as supermoto specific tires and even flat track tires so I can participate in Tues night Flattrack practice throughout the summer.

When it's all said and done it should look something like these minus the graphics that I'm having a hard time deciding on... Really at this point I've only got to get some springs more suited for my weight and the oversized rotor and adaptor for the CRF450 caliper.

Great choice! That fairing stay has been on my wish list for a while... though I'd be equally as happy with the ProFiber one!

Thanks man, I was looking at the Pro Fiber one as well. I went this route as the MH is part aluminum and able to bend if need be.

Btw good to see you are still one here!

Thanks man! It will be a few months before I can but I will post them for sure.

Not much else planned for the ZX6R really maybe some ceramic bearings and that's about it, going to focus on getting the CR85 in top shape, it deserves it, it sat for wayyyy to long last year.

Thanks! I'm actually new to this one hahaha but I remember you from the 'other' kawasaki forum I also plan to one day 'extract' the info on how to get one of those CF subframes hahaha

Also, if you're thinking about ceramic bearings, maybe start with the gearbox. From what I've been told that's where the biggest gains are... then again, if you go all out and get all of them, I'm sure it won't hurt either!

Now if you allow me to suggest a gizmo just for fun... it won't improve bike performance but we all like a bit of novelty every now and then right?

This is just a snippet of an out lap because I'm starting a new youtube channel and will try and leave all my bike videos there instead... keeping most of the decent stuff unlisted for now. But back on topic, that little gizmo cost me less than $100USD delivered (with a $20 ebay coupon) and despite only having used if for a couple of sessions so far and forgetting to charge its batteries (I know... got too excited lol) it has worked a treat!

Haha I knew the name was familiar, well welcome over here then!

Post a link for the gyroscope gizmo, I've been looking for a cheap option as well.

Post a link to your new channel I'll give it a follow, you must be mid season down in OZ ya?

Oh for the subframe give James a shout at Squidskins not sure if his site is still up but he's pretty accessible via facebook under Squidskinz. If you can wait I'll be back in Canada for May and I will see him at the track and can get you sorted.

I got it off this guy about a month back but price (in AUD) seems to have gone up a bit... they also have them on Amazon and etc. Pretty popular brand for gimbals.

Feiyu Single Axle 1-Axis Wearable Gimbal FY-WG Lite for Gopro Hero 3 3+ 4 | eBay

Oh, and the season here is just about to start! Have 10 races over 2 classes lined up for the next weekend... yep, that means I spent the whole day today in the garage and I'm not even close to finished

Thanks for the CF subframe hook up! Will look that guy up and see how much one of those will set me back... It's not illegal to run an aftermarket subframe here so it could be interesting!!!

Nice lines for an Aussie!

What's the red flashing light on the dash? Man it's been so long since I had my 2010 I can't remember seeing anything other than oil pressure.

A play on words, or words on play
Last chapter, verse in the final act
Words well scripted, each sentence choking
Inaudible gag, blanket which suffocates
As you eat another's words
Malnourished, you starve.

Well, I'm actually Brazilian so... In all honesty though, out lap. I was all over the shop on that one.

The light flashing is because a friend borrowed my servo eliminator thingy and never returned hahaha

Out lap or not, still looked alright mate. Sweet, I just left the servo motor in there. How much weight does it save?

Can't remember... it's been a while! But it was more because I was running out of room under the seat fast. With the KIT ECU you have to relocate a few things like the tilt sensor and etc... then add Bazzaz, QS, all kinds of cables and etc. So yeah, in the end it was just more convenient to toss the whole thing out and be done with it. It must have saved some weight too which is always a bonus on race bike!

PS: As you can tell by the dash, I don't currently run the KIT ECU.
