No it's a full on race bike. Built very similar to PS except mine has Farrell RaceTech forks and Ohlins shock. I don't have my race gasket or cams degreed yet either that happens this offseason so my last 4 events (3 race weekends and 1 Track weekend) I'll have to make do with 120hp pump/125hp U4.
But it happens to be streetable with the street tail. I've been augmenting my dyno testing on the street and taking wife for rides. It's also usable for 2-up track rides we are allowed to do with MCRA during the Test-The-Track session. She likes being able to see the whole track from my perspective.
My race tail is at the painter for a minor correction. I'll post pics in full race trim when I get it back.
NOW that is beginning to look more like a race bike =)
I see that you have a "Fast By Frank" sticker on there, are you actually sponsored by him? If so, what kit of his are you running?
I am not completely sold on the headlight decals. I understand that the pros are doing it so that clueless fans can associate it more with what is on the showroom floors but it just doesnt do it for me.
I understand on the headlight stickers. I'm 50/50 on them myself. There are no sponsor stickers on my bike unless they provided financial help in the build or to my program. Frank did some discounting for me on front/rear QC kits. I hate changing wheels and the rear kit is a godsend! Haven't installed the front yet because it involves taking the forks apart.
Looking good. I'd say leave the headlight decal on unless you have sponsors that want that prime location. No harm with those decals on, makes it more identifiable with the street model, yes it's a marketing/sales gimmick by the bike manufacturers.
Kickstand, pegs, passenger pegs are not used on track unless giving a 2-up ride during Test-The-Track.
